Sorry for the dark picture...but can you see these wonderful socks? They are hand-knitted...lovely,gorgeous...and made for me by Kaaren at The PaintedQuilt. I love them so much...thank you so much, Kaaren! Please see her blog, she has a first Friday freebie pattern each month that are wonderful.
I put the binding on the cheddar cheese and crackers quilt...I have really enjoyed hand quilting this one.
And here is the state of the big blue sampler! Many pieces yet to go...probably about 60% done. Lots of progress, though.

I'm happy about Carrie...she's the one who was a newlywed when she was admitted there, right? Thanks for sharing that wonderful news. Your quilts are looking good and how nice to get those cozy socks!!!
How lovely do your quilts looks, the little one as well as the big blue an yellow!!
And it's so great to hear that your patient Carrie could go home!! That's a real miracle!
Have a great day!
Your big blue sampler is looking good! And that's great news about Carrie! :0)
woohoo for handmade socks!! How fantastic. Love your mini and the way your blue and yellow is coming along. Amazing that Carrie got to go home. there's no place like it!
The binding looks great on your little quilt, really frames it. Your sampler is looking fantastic, can't wait to see it finished. And how wonderful after 6 months to finally go home. My husband spent 5 months in hospital after a spinal injury 300 km from where we live - I thought the day would never come when we would get back home and get some little bit of normality back into our lives.
Amazing and wonderful news about Carrie! Your hospital staff is doing some awesome work there. Thank God for her improvement!
And the yellow and blue quilt is looking good!
Oh, Julie li Love your header quilt. The chedder is so cute. Great job.
Isn't it great to have a patient go home?
What awesome socks...wish I knew someone who knitted!
I could use those socks right about now. It is chilly here. Nice gift!
