Pillow talk...

Ok, I almost never post twice in a day, but I had to show y'all what else I got done today. We have plain brown sofas...brown, you know? I am going to make some pretty pillows for these. This one is made from leftover 1/2 square triangles, arranging into flying geese. It is 12 x 17...and the bag of polyfill just fit in it! Stay tuned for more patchwork pillows...Have a most wonderful day! We are watching the election returns...are you? :)

Fabulous pillow, I love brown above all other colors I think. They will be a real decorator touch.

And here in Australia we watched the voting and heard Obama's speech. Stirring stuff; a historic day.

Hi Julie, thanks for your enthusiam with my new vision *VBS*! I am a very happy camper these days, and just in awe of seeing the world in it's natural color, not grayed by a wax paper vision.
The little pillow is wonderful, and a great way to use an orphan block(or any block for that matter). Keep stitching! Hugs, Finnie

What a pretty pillow and just perfect for your sofa. I think the blue baby quilt would be ideal for any sweet bundle of joy and I am sure his mother will too.
