The best news is right above! I received my t-shirt from Vicki Welsh...it is wonderful! Just exactly perfect! Thank you Vicki, it is wonderful. How in the world does she do that!!!?
Since I talked about pillows in my last post, here is an old one above, almost worn out, made of templates and hand sewn.
And a newer one! I really just made it to preserve the pattern...I saw such a beautiful quilt in Pueblo Colorado on one visit, and just took a picture since the shop was closed, then drafted the pattern. Does anyone know the name of the pattern? I would love to make a quilt using many of this star!
On the brown and pink theme, I made a little needle book from the leftovers of other projects. I have never had one before, and it is already in use.
I made ties to tie the needle book shut, but think I will do Velcro or a snap, or something else.
Baskets! I have made three baskets between yesterday and today for friends! This pattern is from the Patchwork Penguin. It is so fun and easy to do, and I love how the baskets came out. I am going to make a bigger one also. Thank you for the pattern!!

Ok, off to do useful things....
Have a wonderful day!!

Wowie Zowie you had an exceptional day! There's a lot of talent on display here my friend, a lot of talent.
You've certainly gotten a lot done. Very cute little table runner. I've seen a quilt made from that pattern, all scrappy. Man, too many good ideas out there!!!
I just love your little needlecase ...so cute... and more of theese bags...Love yours!! :o)
Aren't pillows fun? I've been turning some orphans into slipcovers for sofa pillows and love that some UFO's are out of the cabinet in finally getting used *s*
WOW, you're baskets have binding. How did you do that?
Your projects are such fun! I love each and everyone of them. The old pillow is especially nice to have. It's not a design one sees very often anymore.
I know alot of pattern names, but can't help you on your mystery block. It makes a great pillow. I'm sure someone will know *VBS* Big hugs, Finnie
You did have a mini retreat! what a lot of great projects! I'm so glad that you like your shirt.
A one Woman Show...now that is impressive! All of them look great...and it seems you had fun doing them...that is so important!
Have a wonderful weekend...help make some one well (if you are working).
Aren't days off wonderful! I have been retired for a year now but I still remember the treat of having days off to do whatever you want. I like the star pillow pattern. It looks like it is a Three Kids design.
Julie,I am catching up on my blog reading today - you have been one busy gal! The table runner is adorable and the baskets are too! The baskets can be addictive!
The table runner is one of my favorite patterns of all time...I have made it at least 6 times in various sizes!
Love the start pillow...looks like a fun block to make!
I love that table runner! Doing the little stars in the sashing is one of my favorite designs.
Your shirt from Vicki is so fun!!! Lucky girl!!
I love your little witch, "If the broom fits..." Some days the broom fits me very well! ROFLOL
your baskets are way cool. love the table runner:) It's great to see everything you have gotten done while not working:)
You certainly have been busy getting all sorts of lovely things done. I need your stamina.
Such lovely fun things to see on your blog! Actually I am going to do that Be-attitudes quilt at some point after being inspired by your version--did I tell you that already?
Anyway, like Finn I don't know the name of your block either and I looked through BlockBase to see if I could see anything similar. The closest I could come to the block components with that nine patch was in the category of Nine X and like a Double Z---but the star points and arrows make it look a whole lot different than say, Fox and Geese or flowering nine patch which are in the group.
Pueblo Star and Arrows might be a good name for it in the meantime? Very pretty in the two colors!
I made a quilt using the same block as your pillow - it was 7-8 years ago. I can't find the pattern but I think it was called A Wink and A Smile or A Wink and A Grin - something along those lines.
