Good morning! I prepped an applique block today. The background is a scrap, and will be squared later...it is pretty crooked. The pattern can be found here:

Want to join me?? I want to make this quilt, this year.

Are you using cotton instead of wool? Dotti in CT
Pretty block!
Hi Julie--
it's been a while since I left you a comment--sorry--I do read every post-well--I thought I did but somehow missed the one with the little pouches you did--they are so pretty!!
Also want to say how proud of you I am about still going to work even with sooo many new and uncertain rules being done--which makes your life more at risk--it's so sad--no body really knows what to do these days to stay safe--me I am still doing all the things I did since day one of Covid--still wearing a mask ect when I go outside my apartment--the last couple weeks I even went back to having groceries delivered--!!
Know that I am thinking of you--
hugs, di
gonna go check out this site now for the applique block--
Ooh, I'm really tempted to join you. I've been wanting to try wool applique this year. I would probably buy the wool block kits because I have a really small wool stash and I don't want to build one until I know I like doing it.
very nice pattern, might have a sticky beak and see the pattern
Pretty block!
This is a very pretty block, Julie! But it is appliqué, and we are not on speaking terms. So I will watch your lovely work rather than joining in.
You will enjoy this one. Looks like you use the freezer paper and glue when you applique - not needle turn applique - am I right? Hugs and hoping you are doing fine.
Not joining you but it's pretty....
That’s a great block, Julie. I am very tempted to join in. I would have to use fabrics not wool. Thanks for sharing!
Super pretty block!
