Happy Sunday to everyone, or Monday in Australia! I have been working on these colorful, solid colored fabric blocks. I love making them! Just super fun, easy sewing.
Years ago, a very elderly local lady was cleaning out her flannels, and gave me a stack of flannels, because she was taking them to Goodwill, and she mentioned that maybe I would want them, instead. I cut them into pieces for these blocks, and have started piecing them. This should turn out to be a warm quilt, for a gentleman. She told me to make comfort quilts from the flannels, and so I am.
I hand quilted this morning, a bit. You can see the stitches in the cheddar colored fabric. That was great fun!!

Have a great day, all of you!

Ooooh! I can just imagine how good that flannel would feel! Your solid blocks are so pretty.
'Tis Monday here. =) The flannel quilt will be like a cosy quilty hug for somebody. Your solid colour blocks are joyously colourful. How brilliant they look all grouped together.
Beautiful solid blocks. The flannel quilt will be a cosy and warm quilt for someone. That reminds me I have a flannel UFO, somewhere....
Your solids are so pretty - but I am loving on that plaid!! those will make great quilts!
The plaid fabrics look great in the blocks!
Sweet story with those flannels :-) These will make a wonderful, comfy quilt.
Gorgeous color pairings on those solid blocks! Nice work hugs, Julierose
The solid blocks are so fun! Glad your stitching time includes plenty of variety. Hope work is calmer and not so hard on you.
Your solid blocks are really coming along - so pretty. Lucky you to have all those flannels. Someone will really appreciate the soft cozy quilt it becomes. I just had to stare at the quilting picture. It is just so satisfying to see the crisp edges of the flying geese pieces and the contrasting quilting stitches. Nice work and thanks for sharing.
Your solid blocks are looking really good.
I like the flannel story, and the blocks you are making from them.
So beautiful my friend. Love to you on this great day.

I like all of your blocks. Hand quilting can be very relaxing. I like to listen to audio books while I hand quilt.
love those littel stars!
I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
