Using up those solid colored fabrics!

Good morning, everyone!!!  I am using up my solid colored fabrics, by making a sampler.  This is a Moda sampler, but since I am just making my blocks based on a picture, it is tough to direct you to a link!!  I have twenty blocks cut out.  I still have solid fabrics left over!!!
I am also making this block.  It is from a 2016 Quiltmaker Bonnie Hunter block pattern...but I had the pattern from long ago.  What was old is new again!!  These take five minutes to sew each quarter of a block. (providing all the blocks are cut out and ready to go!)  Fast and fun...and I STILL have a few solid fabrics, LOL!!
And one more doggie!!!  Lime green...a new breed.  The newest thing...I am sure you will see them at the dog parks soon, LOL!

My hubby found this during his clean out and reorganization of the garage.  It came with his father's tool box.  I believe it to be a key, possibly for a prison cell block?  It weighs a ton, and it about 6 inches long.  So interesting!  How did it come to be in a tool box that has not been opened for 40 years?

Does anyone know anything about this object?

Have a great day, each of you!

that might be a old key to open the water cover where you turn on/off the water to your house

The key is intriguing. I hope you discover some information about its use. The dog blocks are adorable!

Good grief, you get a lot done (I know, you never sleep). I really liked the looks of Bonnie's finished quilt but I really don't need anything new at this point. I was thinking the same thing as KB--a key to turn water on/off to the house.

Very interesting new dog breed. I wonder if they shed a lot? Lime coloured hair on my sofa. It would be beautiful, haha. Interesting key. I haven't a clue what it is for. Enjoy! ;^)

Beautiful solid colors blocks, especially I love the dog (new breed) blocks, so cute. Can't help with the key, no clue what it has been used for.

Two wonderful projects for your solids. And I love the lime green dog. Always marvel at your productivity level!
Fascinating key.

Very interesting key. What makes you think it was for a prison cell?

I've been looking at all the solids in my stash too! I'm considering using all different shades of one color for alternate blocks in a scrappy quilt--might be fun. I like the quilt Bonnie is making of the same block, so vibrant with all your solids. Your puppy blocks are so cute.

We have some old jail cell keys ( my husband was in law enforcement), but they just look like keys, only much heavier and larger. Love your blocks. I rarely work with solids. Probably wouldn’t have enough to make a few blocks aside from some reds.

Oh Your solids are so so so pretty!!
So 40 years ago his dad stuck it in the toolbox so that you would not know that he had an evil stepbrother, and they had to lock him in a cell, so that the world could be saved - and now we all owe him our lives ;-) Sounds good right????

LOL! Yep! That must be what happened, Alycia....yep!!! Love it!!

Fun blocks (maybe the dog spent too much time in the pool and it turned his fur funny colors???). Great key, no matter what it goes to.

I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
