I found a few scraps in cleaning out the quilt closet, and they were 3.5 inch wide. I just pieced them together with 3/4 inch strips. Now what do I do with them? Make a border?

Here’s my idea if you want to stretch them. Take a large square (10”?) and cut it randomly going one direction. Insert a 1-1/2” side strip of your stripe in it and sew it back together. Lay them out with the strips going horizontally then vertically. I’ve seen scrap patterns like this with a single fabric as the “strip”.
I know you have some very clever ideas-- can't wait to see what you do, I'm intrigued!
Sometimes it's just fun to play with no goal in mind. We all should do that more often. Thanks for sharing.
