Call of the wild! (scraps...wild scraps, that is!)

I have been working on this quilt, Northwest x Southwest, Annie's brainchild!!  It is fast going now...and will be off to the quilter's home very soon.

That crumb bin!  Do you have one?  I have just been drawn to mine lately!  Here is where I am now, in my progress...just sewing, sewing sewing.  The colors are so much brighter than the picture portrays.  FUN!!!

These are the cantaloupe plants  that were transplanted by the raccoons outside the fence. They have blooms!!  How fun is that!!??

OK...now I just HAVE  to vacuum and mop!

I'm impressed by the NWxSW -- and the scraps are awesome! Are you sewing them in blocks?

The QOV is just WOW! I'm still all over the place here...cooking, sometimes cleaning, helping some neighbors...can't seem to sit and sew. Fun news though....we found a new golden to adopt! About 5 years old. Adorable and we're going to name him Bob :-) Luke will have someone to wrestle again! We get him Saturday!!!

Love the quilts and all the progress on them--

I am joining you today for the mopping and vacuuming--the sewing fairies leave threads all over the carpet when they sew--and then I have to clean up after them--!!!
luv,di

Gosh, your QOV is pretty! I pieced one during the winter, and took it to N. TX with me in March to quilt up on my friends machine, but the day after I arrived for my 2 week visit, the pandemic was announced, so home I went. I finally quilted it up yesterday and I’m so glad to be one step closer to completing it. With the weather the way it’s been here in Texas, you may be enjoying some fresh cantaloupe this fall!

Love your sraps quilt top, you are a very dedicated sewing lady. This is lots of work, Ma'm.

I always pass on the crumbs to a thrift store as I have way too much fabric to use up. You manage to find time even with all your work hours to use the bits and pieces up and create something with them.
