Well, I think I have fallen over the edge, y'all!! I made a start on the Splendid sampler (remember, I have startitis really, really bad)...made the first five blocks...and they are just gone. I think the blocks maybe got thrown away by mistake, or something, for I just CANNOT FIND THEM!!!
What is a girl to do, when she really wants to make this quilt? I started over! This time...pinks and blues...that is all I am going to put in this quilt. Hope I have enough to do the whole thing! I am behind on a few blocks, but oh well...here I go!!!

Oh, no! I can't believe you had to start over with your sampler. But you're right, a girl's got to do what a girls got to do! The do over blocks look lovely. Congrats to the winners.
Yup...it happens...I have almost tossed out several things accidentally, as I keep my garbage can right under my cutting table. Now I am VERY careful! I remember reading on someone's blog that a whole unopened quilt kit must have fallen into her garbage can because it was GONE...can you imagine that! Yikes...I would be sick over that! The new blocks look wonderful and all is forgot...right! :o)
Thanks again, Julie for the pattern!! So exciting, being a 'winner'! Happy stitching!

You're welcome - thanks for coming to the show and coming to meet me and shopping in our booth! Hope the winners like their prizes!
Oh Julie! so sorry about the missing blocks. The newest blocks are lovely in pink and blue. Thanks for the win too. ♥ ;^)

Aahh Julie, the blocks will turn up when you least expect them. Love the pink and blue. hugs lyn
Congrats to your winners!
I really like your color scheme for your second start on this quilt. Oh, I hope you didn't throw them away and they will turn up eventually.
I tell you, 2 1/2 years ago we think I threw away my anniversary band, my birthstone ring and a little gold pinky ring when I cleaned up after preparing the Thanksgiving turkey. Just this Valentine's we replaced the anniversary ring and yesterday I finally ordered a new birthstone ring.
You replaced your blocks much quicker than I replaced my rings. : )
Dear Julie,
congratulations to the winners.
How sad you can not find your blocks.
The second version looks marvelous.
Greetings,
Sylvia
Oh no, I would be distraught if I could not locate completed blocks. Glad you soldiered on. Not a big fan of pink but combined with the blue will make a pretty quilt
Samplers are fun, and I like this set of finished blocks. Murphy's Law: once you've made all the new blocks, you will find the older ones. ;o)
I'm sure the missing blocks will turn up eventually - SO frustrating when that happens!
Ah, so annoying! I've done it too!
They will show up some day in the most unlikely of places and you'll get a good laugh! XO
Oh, I hope they turn up somewhere. I'm currently searching for a notebook that has all the guild board and general meeting notes in it....nowhere to be found.
