Mystery quilt progress

Here is where I am on Bonnie from Quiltville's mystery Quilt, Allietare.  Step one, step two, step three, step four, and a few of step five are done.  I started sewing step five together backwards, so I am taking a wee break, LOL!!

This is the link up for all the latest progress from the mystery quilters!!

Above are my pieces and parts, before I started step five.

This step took me 6+ hours...I am a slow poke these days!!

Did your mom ever make you Silver dollar pancakes as a kid?  They were so special to us...I made some this week, just for us.  They reminded me of my mom!!

Have a great day, everyone!!

My mum always made us the best pancakes. I can't remember when the last time we had such good ones. It was so much fun

I don't make pancakes, but I love eating them. I have my mother's cast-iron pancake grill, so I wonder why on earth I don't make my own pancakes.

Congratulations on keeping up with all the mystery clues.

Doing well on your mystery parts, Julie.
Mom never made the small pancakes, but I loved them anyway. They are still a favorite.

Great job keeping up with the mystery! I worked on part four today but did't finish it. I haven't made pancakes in ages, yours sure look yummy.

Your mystery looks wonderful...and your pancakes are beautiful, and making me hungry! No, my Mother never made pancakes..
I like making those Dutch apple pancakes that you make in the oven.

Nothing wrong in being s slow poke. You're doing a great job keeping up. Looks like it's taken tons of time. I love pancakes, big or smalland they're not just for breakfast. Happy New Years.

Great progress on the mystery quilt. I'm late reading posts, so I've already seen the reveal and love it! My mom did not make silver dollar pancakes, but my grand kids always expect pancakes when they spend the night and talk about when they were little how I made them Mickey Mouse pancakes and other shapes as well. The two who spent the night Christmas night asked for Belgian waffles, though, so that's what they got! When two 17 year old grandchildren ask to spend the night and request Belgian waffles for breakfast, they get them!

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
