Acorns!! Tons of them, all over!! We have over 60 inches of rain so far this year, and the oak trees are loving it, and have responded by producing acorns by the millions!
And a sweet companion, in and out of the sun, on the porch...
Hey, did you do any bindings for the binding blitz??? Please link up below for November!! This is the last one for this year, as December will pass me by in a whirl...let's think of something fun to do for next year!!

Omg 60 inches of rain..... Lucky to get 20.....
I have several mounds of leaves I've raked but not yet bagged. I'm going to be royally PO'd if we get a really windy day before I bag them. I didn't have any bags and need to go get some. In my former house, we had one year where our oaks had tons of acorns (more than usual) and for some reason, I looked it up. I think I read oaks have a 'mast' year every so often where they produce huge numbers of acorns. I'd never heard of that. http://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/a-mast-year-for-acorns-thats-n/36849
All of our leaves are already gone. Do you do anything with the acorns? No binding for me this week.
Our leaves are still on the trees but have finally started to change. The acorns though - oh my! - they are everywhere! We too have had 60" of rain this year - I'm near DFW airport. Where are you?
Thank you for hostessing the Binding Blitz this past year, I got lots done and it kept me motivated!
You might be raking for awhile! I'm excited that I can join in your binding blitz again! So happy to have a Christmas finish!
60" of rain?! We are still under 10" for the whole year!
I'm always happy when I finally get the leaves picked up. I'm curious about the acorns, too. Do you leave them for the squirrels?
Here in Ohio it seems like the leaves drop for months, and this year I still see trees with loads of leaves. They add a bright and welcome spot of color in the otherwise grey landscape.
Thanks for hosting Binding Blitz. I think this is only my second finished quilt for the year (and, therefore, only the second binding).

My favorite season is Fall and the best days are when it's raining leaves.
Maybe a big wind will come along and miraculously make the rest of the leaves disappear!
Eighteen bags of leaves? Whew! That is a LOT of raking!
Just one little quilt bound in November, but I linked it up. : )
I had to pay to get my leaves raked and bagged--30+ bags. No acorns this year but last years there were many many!
