Binding Blitz!! and some other things

Just looking in the closet, folks, and I found this quilt top.  Strings and scraps!!  My favorite thing of all time!  I really need to get this one quilted and on to it's next owner.  I remember this quilt top went together very quickly, and I loved it...and imagined all that lovely empty space in the alternate blocks with pretty hand quilting.
Another view.  I love the littlest pieces and strings of fabric...love, love!!
A little leftover quilt...made of leftovers, that is.

This is the prize for the binding blitz!!!  For May...so I am opening the linky box, and please feel free to add your quilts to the link-up.  I will randomly draw for this book, from the finished bindings.
And last, but not least are my Everyday Patchwork blocks.  I made three more today, and that is about the extent of the sewing for now.  I am loving making these!!

Have a wonderful day!

Julie

It's a very pretty quilt you found in the closet. Yes, yes, get it out of there, hand-quilt it and let the world see this little beauty. It's too cute to be stuck in the closet. I love the border!! Will you quilt circle of feathers or pretty baskets in the negative space?

What a sweet little quilt from leftovers. So fun to make and enchanting to see.
Love the Everyday Patchwork blocks you have made, and I think the pinwheel cornerstones will look great!

I love your basket quilt! What a great quilt to find just waiting for finishing. I had completely forgotten about binding blitz, but luckily I have one finish for this month. I just haven't posted it! I plan to get that up tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get it up in time to link to Binding Blitz1

The string baskets are delightful and the zig zag borders movement just adds to the charm. Your right the open space lends itself to all kinds of added designs and texture with the quilting. Thanks for hosting the binding blitz. I love seeing what others have finished. I have a couple of binding to get done one of these days so I can join in too.

I'm so disappointed that I don't have a quilt binding to share this month ... I'd love to win that book. But I don't think that I've touched my hand quilting at all in the month of May, and I can't bind my quilt until the quilting is done. :-o

I love your basket quilt ... adorable. Whoever is the recipient will be blessed for sure.

Finally, I get to link up!! Love your quilt, but I love all of your quilts! Thanks for the chance to win - what a great prize - Kim's books are among my favorites, and I've been wanting this new one, but haven't had a chance to buy it yet. Now I'm going to go check out the rest of the links.
