A blog about my life and quilts especially! This plaid quilt was made by me...pattern by Evelyn Sloppy in her Strings book!!
Only a tiny one done this month but lots of organizing and de-cluttering :-)
Love that scrappy binding - it's perfect for that quilt!
I had three this month...that's not too bad! :0)
Ooo some lovely finishes posted already! I got a big ole quilt out and made the binding and STARTED stitching it onto the quilt but got distracted! It'll get done this month!
Just one for me, but I'm so glad I at least got that one done!
It's fun to see all of these quilts bound and finished. I'm hoping to join the group at the end of this month!
So many beautiful reds in those pumpkin seed blocks! Congratulations on a fabulous finish! Your binding blitz seems to be working.
You turn out the most wonderful scrap quilts. Love seeing the finishes you are getting bound.
Two in February, which seems pretty good to me. I am pretty confident of one more in March, but then I think it is going to get harder!
How many beautiful link-ups already, Julie your quilt is wonderful. This month I am able to participate, because I used a binding for my quilt. Greetings,Sylvia
You always have such a nice variety of scraps in your quilt. I love them. I keep trying to hold myself back from starting the orange peel. :( How do you get your points so sharp? They look great!-Kristie
Great to see the scrappy binding.:) Now I just need to power through my latest quilt so I can link up next month!
I love the orange peel. Lovely finish Hugs, Cathy
Ahhh nice little quilt show :0)I have not finished anything in months...gotta get myself in gear. But I have done some great volunteering for good causes so I won't beat myself up to badly. I enjoyed seeing the linky quilts and yours too.Happy Sewing
I see you are still turning out the most beautiful quilts! I wish I had your talent! HugsAnett
Love the quilt you finished...that pattern has been on my bucket list forever! :)
Julie, what are you using to get your petals/peels a perfect size and shape? How big are they? Do you have a template, a cutter? I am looking to do a big peel quilt but am struggling trying to find something that will make cutting the peels easier.... Boy doesn't that say something about my laziness! Help!
I didn't even know you were having a binding blitz when I did my bindings yesterday. Funny how those things happen sometimes.
Lots of beautiful bound projects! All your red pumpkin seeds are looking great! How big are they?
