Quilt along complete!

I added a border that completed the little star/square blocks...so I am done!!  I will add a colorful binding after it is quilted, and call it good.
I had to use two different cream colors in the border, because I ran out of the first print.  That is what makes it fun, is to just use what you have and not worry about it so much...I call it a design element, LOL!!

Thank you so much, Terry of Terry Treasures,  for your very fun quilt along!!  I used almost a whole box of two inch squares, all scraps, in this quilt, and so that is a good thing.  I really do use all my scraps, every one, saved and gifted to me...and love them all so much!!

So now what?  I would really like to finish my flowers and nine patch quilt, but cannot sit still long enough to work on the applique flower blocks.  So I guess I will end up piecing today, something...probably a UFO already cut out.  I have plenty of those!!  Do you???

Have a great day!

Julie

Wow, that was fast! I just barely read the "pre-border" post. : )
Looks wonderful!! I love that you finished the block design into the border. I often have to sub a different background and it does all work out. Another beauty, Julie!

It's beautiful Julie! And you're quite welcome! It's so much fun to see so many of these quilts being made all over blogland! :0)

Very pretty! I wish I were so disciplined - and patient - with my scraps.

Top looks great, but surprises me how very different the pattern emphasis is with the cream border. Are you going to do a colourful binding? Its a great scrap pattern, hope to make one, one day, when I get my scraps cut up.

This looks beautiful! Love the 'design element' of the multiple backgrounds. I do this too, and think it adds depth to my quilts.

Beautiful Julie. I have Terry's quilt on my wish list. I have so many UFO's I am working on, but it is always nice to start a new project. :)

Oh yes indeed, I have plenty of those too Julie :*) Love your quilt top - especially since it is mostly scraps. Nothing better than a scrappy quilt!!! Congrats on the great finish.

Your quilts are always fun to look at and full of the happiness that goes into them. I feel badly for the woman who "doesn't sew with junk." She is impoverished by her own narrow-minded thinking. Yes, sometimes it is fun to buy new fabrics, but creatively using up the old "junk" is always inspirational!

It's beautiful, Julie. It's beautifully balanced with the cream setting of the squares of all colours. I' tempted to try it myself.

Great colors, great design, and I'm sure it will be enjoyed.
You have a bold, colorful quilt, and it reduced your supply of squares. That's a winning combination.

The quilt looks really great! I love the pattern design. I'm off to see if I can find the block instructions.

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
