HI Y'all!! I am participating in Lyn's block of the month...a stitchery BOM!! It is really fun...please click here and check it out!! I will trim all the blocks at once, when they are all made.
I had forgotten about cutting this UFO out...now I remember...this was a jelly roll!! I wanted to use it all, so I cut it up into 2.5 inch squares, and this is what I came up with. This is my UFO # 6, in progress for January, for Judy's UFO challenge. I have a little more sewing to do, as you can see, but it will be twin sized when finished...just right for a donation quilt!!
To use up all the squares, I am making this border. I should have very few squares left...and the binding was already in the UFO bin! Yahoo!!!
I hope each of you is having a great day!!
Julie

Love the quilt! I've just been looking at a quilt like this in one of my books.
Your embroidery work looks great...not something I ever mastered.
Been quilting most of the day...using lots of fabric with hearts...guess this will be a love or valentine quilt.
Have a wonderful week.
Beautiful stitchery. I have never attempted anything like that.
I love your UFO! And wow on using what you had!!! It's really a fun quilt!
The quilt is just wonder as well as your stitching.
Love your stitchery - very sweet!!!
And, your finished quilt top is adorable.
Hello Julie, enjoyed seeing your embrodiery, love your quilt...and the colours you have used...Hugs Lyn
I love your embroidery, one task I haven't learned yet, but on my to do list. The colors of the quilt are great, it looks very nice!
So pretty! How generous of you to be giving it away when it is all done. I have only worked on my #6 for a few minutes, stitching together the binding strips I'd already cut. So glad she picked that number as I really will be able to finish it this month!
They are both so nice! The donation quilt will surely make someone very happy.
Great UFO! Was that just one jelly roll you cut up? I have one I'd like to use up and I do like the look of this quilt! :0)
Bright and cheerful...just what the doctor ordered in the dead of winter! Hugs!!
Your embroidery is terrific. I think your UFO quilt will be ideal for spring and summer. So cheerful and fun! Great pattern.
What a cheerful quilt! So good of you to donate it.
I just love the fabric in that quilt
That is a very cute stitchery...I am tempted to start yet another project :)
Love your #6 UFO...very happy looking!
Your UFO is really pretty- I made a quilt with the same jelly roll- It's my Summer quilt :-)
The stitchery is really cute as well!
9 patch and snowball is my absolute fave. This is a beautiful top - bright and cheerful and springy. It will light up a room. Great job!

The quilt is so bright and cheery, I love it. Your stitchery is awesome, will go check out the BOM!
That is beautiful...if I had that quilt...I would put machine embroidery in everyone of those snowball blocks....LOL Great job as usual and it is amazing how many quilt tops you get done!
My best,
Anett
That is one happy looking quilt. And, finding the binding...priceless!
Beautiful stitchery! Can't wait to see the others. Love the quilt too. I have a snowball 9-patch waiting patiently for me to finish it too. Seeing yours makes me want to get mine out too :cD
Oooh, boy, these colorful stitcheries get me every time. I just got the fabric to do Little Miss Shabby's birdie stitchery BOM, but I may have to do Lyn's too seeing yours! They're small, right? LOL Your snowball quilt looks great!
