Weigh in Wednesday...

Hi all! I am making nine patches in between Dear Jane blocks...kind of two ends of the spectrum, and I like it like that! This entire quilt will be out of the 2.5 inch strip drawer. I am measuring for sashing, that is why I have dear husband's measuring tape on the floor. Do you use your husband's measuring tape??
I really want to tell you about a darling quilt, above! Lyn of Bluebird Quilts made another heart strings quilt! I have been meaning to show this off for ages...this is her second heart strings quilt. Even the parts that look solid are really strings! It is wonderful...just the thing for some little child.
Caladiums are getting bigger and bigger...And tada! I am getting a little smaller...I am X + 6! I lost two pounds! So yippee skippee, and sure hope I can keep it up. I gained last week, so you see how the yo yo bounces...
Dear Jane...Hmmm, how are you? I think you may be a little tired today! The red is pretty, but the workmanship? Not so much!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week! I have scheduled the dreaded CCRN test...and will let you know ASAIKS... (as soon as I know something).

Congrats on your weight loss. I enjoyed reading through your last few blogs - the blue and yellow quilt on the Joy post really caught my eye.

Losing those pounds - yea for you!

The caladiums are looking so pretty...that green thumb you have is the reason.

Take care...be good...and enjoy life!...the blessings are there!

It's good to have different projects on the go so you have something to work on when you have different moods... and my girls bought me my own tape measure for my birthday one year - it's fleuro green! And congrats on the good weigh-in. Our scales broke a few weeks ago and with the cold weather and craving carbs I'm not a happy girl - sure a little has sneaked on...

well done on the 6lbs lost.....I have been a bit up and down with my weight - just need to get back into exercising more (treadmill has seized up with non-use I think!)....I weigh in on Wednesdays as well...but have changed from first thing in the morning to after work...so this week I gained half a kg.....not good....! So back to basics this week.....it's cold here though so comfort food is tempting!

Congrats on the weight loss. I lost this week, too, but I had gained last week, so I really am not ahead of the game yet. *sigh* I like that heartstrings quilt and I really can't see that it's made from strings/strips in very many places....quite clever!!!

Boy, you are really making some goals happen this summer. Strong Work! Love the quilt photos. That needle turn applique can be challenging for sure. Keep at it though, it will all look wonderful.

Congrats on the weight loss!! It's a good idea to look at the overall weight loss and try not to focus on each weekly weigh in. Easier said than done, I know:)
I love your 9 patch blocks!!
