OK! According to the scientific method, this is how many blocks go in a spool quilt. The container is full! I did the last 40 today...it took me exactly forever. Why it took so long, I do not know!! Just did...I really love these blocks!
Thank you, Terry! I won a book on her blog...and am already 80 pages into it...it is really a good book! And look at the pretty page marker too...it has pretty fringe attached and I love that touch. Thank you again, Terry.
This is a scary sight...my husband work gloves got wet, so I washed them (they still look the same as before...), and put them over bottles so they would dry. This reminds me of our friend Kim, of Kim's Big Quilting Adventure...she loves halloweenish stuff!!
Have a wonderful week!!

The gloves look alive!
Love the spools - you lucky girl.
You're welcome for the book! I'm glad you're enjoying it so far! Love those gloves! LOL
SOMEDAY, I am going to make spool blocks!!!
Woo-hoo on teh spool progress! Yep, looks full to me!!!
What a funny photo of the gloves.
Love your "scientific method" of calculating required number of blocks in a quilt! LOL
The spools are quite wonderful but the gloves are unbelievable ;) Don't ever throw them or any others out. I've got a fun project for you to make with them!
What fun with the gloves! I like your spools---the colors are so calm and collected!!!
Love your spools....and great win over at Terry's...
Glad you've been 'spooling' around, they are looking great.
Is there any other method besides the scientific method?! :)
Assemby time! It will be exciting to see what that spooling box turns into. Your "scientific method" makes me laugh, by the way. It sounds too much like someone I know very well.
Why the spools took you so long? I definitely know - because you have to look and drool and admire, and touch and feel them along the way. Some of my blocks are practically worn out from my admring them! LOL I finally figured out why it takes ME a long time to make blocks! LOL
Love your spool blocks.
Too funny...the gloves make a great Halloween decoration! Can't wait to see what you do with the spools.
The gloves made me laugh. thanks!
Keep the glove picture for Halloween, so cool.
