Summertime!

Greetings!  I have been working, in the wee hours of the morning, on these blocks above.  A friend loves purple, so I am making purple blocks.

Some kitties are just in love with quilts!!  This is Lucky.

I just need to rest a little, he says!

This month's color for rainbow quilts is purple.  I do not have much purple, but I love using it.

This is shaping up to be a fun quilt!

My dear friend Lyn, who is so very sick with covid right now, made the bottom quilt.  I think these are fun for decoration on the fourth.  Lyn, get better soon!

This is the next round of my DIL's quilt.  I love it.  Kitty shown for scale.  Not really...he is just in the middle of everything I do!

This quilt is for a guild quilt along.  The binding is the back color of the quilt.

Hope each of you is doing really well!

I like all the blocks/quilts that you have shown here. And the border of your DIL's quilt really makes that quilt pop. Nice job. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, pretty purple happenings at your house! And lovely orange, too! Those are both colors that people seem to have strong feelings about, one way or the other. I just happen to love them both. I also love little patriotic quilts, and I love chains in quilts--sooo--can you tell I love this whole post? LOL And I got a kick out of your "Kitty shown for scale" statement.

I love your blocks and projects, as always! Last year I made a quilt in greens and purples exactly like the one you’re doing. You did see the misssssnake with the four-patch in one corner, didn’t you? I did that too a couple weeks ago. Yep, we’re quilters and we’re human! xo

What a lovely array of blocks, Julie. I like them all esp. the first ones and I'm wondering if I have the skill to make them. I don't have much of purple or orange but I'm planning a Halloween project so will have to get some. Lovely kitty too.

"I came across a comment online about a Los Angeles–based journalist who said she found true love again just two months after her divorce. That story gave me hope during one of the most difficult times in my life.

I had been married for over six years, but things fell apart when my husband started pulling away and eventually left. We had been separated for nearly three months, and even after trying to reconnect through gifts, therapy, and marriage counseling, nothing seemed to work. I still loved him deeply and just wanted us to find our way back to each other.

Then I found a blog post that shared a contact who had helped others through relationship struggles. I decided to reach out and explain my situation. I followed the guidance I was given with an open mind and genuine intention to rebuild my marriage.

To my surprise, within a couple of days, my husband called me. He was calm, sincere, and apologetic. We had a real conversation—something we hadn’t had in a long time—and he told me he wanted to come back home. The very next day, he did.

Today, we are together again, working on our relationship with more love, care, and understanding than before. I’m truly grateful for the second chance we’ve been given.

If you’re going through a difficult time in your relationship, don’t lose hope. Sometimes the right guidance and a willingness to try again can make all the difference." [relationshipmarraiges@gmail.com]
