I love rainbows of color, too. This is a fun design for a rainbow quilt, with the black and white snowball blocks adding great depth.
Hyacinth--lovely. I used to have a few bulbs, but I think they got tired of my neglect and quit coming up.

The snowball blocks are such a great enhancement for the rainbow 9ps. Stitching outdoors -- in Texas but definitely not in Illinois. P.S. Any bluebonnets yet?
