I love the look of your borders. They always seem to be the hardest part of a quilt. Hugs

Good for you, getting motivated on the borders. I often stall there. Don't know why I find it so painful to attach borders. These both look really good!

I struggle with borders too. Getting it right is like choosing the perfect pair of shoes to complement the outfit to perfection. From what I can see, you're an expert at this, well done!

I am currently ripping out all 4 borders on my queen size quilt! I already had a pieced border on, but it didn't look right until I tried some darker options. So I will end up putting on the dark border and then my pieced one and it will look so much more balanced!

Love, love, LOVE both of these quilt tops, Julie!! The Heart/Strings is a surprise and a delight, as I remember back when you were just working on the string portion. I thought it might turn into a table runner. SEW pleased to see that it will grow up to be a darling quilt!

Merry Christmas!!!
