Turning Twenty Monday!!!

Woohoo!!!  I am a Turning Twenty girl today...working on my "Seeing Stars" mystery quilt!!  Here is my progress so far.  I have two little six inch blocks cut out and not sewn yet, so today is the day!!
Here are the blocks for today.   You know the blocks you just love, and think, "I need to make a whole quilt out of those blocks!"  This is one of those blocks.   Hurry and go download them if you are signed up!!

Please see Tricia's Turning Twenty websites here:

Tricia and I met at the hospital, and we have been great friends since then...take a look and have fun!!

This is an older quilt of mine, but I unearthed it and was just admiring the funky flowers...I love flowers!!  Speaking of beautiful applique, please see Karen's blog HERE.  She blogs at the Log Cabin Quilter and just has the most beautiful applique going on...I love each and every block!
The old crazy quilt that was maybe headed for the trash?  It is finding a bit of new life! I added a vine, and am in the process of appliqueing it down.   The more I do on it, the more I like it.  Have you ever had that experience with a quilt project?

Happy Labor Day, everyone!  I am off work, having worked the weekend.  It has been a quiet day, and I even napped a little!

Happy Quilting,

Julie

I don't want to be twenty again but if you find a secret to un-aging, let me know. LOL!

Thank you for the blog mention!

Is your applique quilt a Jo Morton design? Looks very familiar. You did a spectacular job on creating it.

I've downloaded the star patterns but haven't done anything with them yet. I sure like yours in red, white, and blue.

Love all your pretty stars - great red, white, and blue colors! I'm glad you rescued the top, it looks great with the vine! I made a version of your flower quilt - I think I should go unearth it as I haven't seen it in awhile!

I am always surprised when that happens... an ugly duckling becomes a swan!
