An older quilt

Good morning!  Yesterday, when I was looking for heart quilts, I found this quilt.  Back in the day, I used to hand quilt everything.  My stitches were teeny weeny...and I don't think I can make them that small now!!  The texture of this worn quilt is soft and cuddly, and I think that is what draws me to it.
Here is a close up...this is a great one for using 2 inch squares up!!   I would like to remake this one, bigger though!!

I hope you have a wonderful Saturday, everyone!!

I like the way the stars go out into the border. Very nice quilt!

What a great pattern, Irish chain with stars? Looks like a great scrap buster, thanks for sharing.

That's a very pretty pattern. Never saw stars in an Irish chain before. Your own pattern? It is lovely. Thanks for sharing.

Another beautiful quilt. Any idea how many you have made over the years?

I was just going to say I love the way the stars overlap the border, but I see someone else said it first - still true though! Gorgeous colours in that one, and just adore the hearts quilt below too. xCathy

Soooo pretty! And hand quilted...wonderful!

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
