A new project for this new year

This is what I am working on today...The Quilt Show's Alphabet block of the month. The quilt is designed by Janet Stone.  It is put together a section at a time, and this was January's section.  I do love all the different blocks!  You can see the quilt HERE!! under BOM.  To see another, prettiest ever version, click HERE!! and see Kyle's version.

Have a super great Monday!!

I love this quilt! Unfortunately, I'm not a paying member of the Quilt Show, so when I logged in, I still couldn't get the pattern. Yours looks great!

Yes, you are right, Sandie...I had never subscribed to the Quilt Show, but when I saw this quilt, I did for the first time ever, so I could access the pattern!!

I have seen a couple of versions of this, and I loved them both. You are right--Kyle's is very pretty!
What is the method used for making the letters?

I'm saving this as it goes along for someday -- and like you, I joined this year because I loved the pattern!!

Your first section looks great with the confetti fabric for the background and the black letters. Thanks for mentioning mine. It's been a fun one to do. Now if we can just keep up!

Looks like it's going to be a fun quilt - a bit different. Are you still working on your angel quilt or are you saving that for nearer xmas?

That is so cute! What a great project and so unique!

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
