Pieces and parts all finished...now on to the blocks!

It always starts out very organized...counting little stacks of 10 blocks and pinning them together...but then...

The stacks become piles! I have more than enough units to make my Jewel Box plaids quilt...more than enough to make a really big quilt for dear husband!!! I love this part...now I can make all the blocks and really make some progress.

Have a great day, all!!

Oh, cannot wait to see it all come together.
I'm still collecting different plaids for a guy quilt.

There you go again, teasing me with those gorgeous plaids.

You have and use more plaids than anyone I know; plus, you make the most beautiful quilts with all of them.

wow, you've been busy. I just did a swap with CW fabrics in 1/2 sq tri's. I need more now that I got the first batch and they are fabulous. Everyone had to use the foundation paper so the blocks are precise!

One of my all time favourite moments in piecing is when I have all the little components pieced squared and counted - just ready to be made into a top. Can't wait to see the finish.

Hi, I love the quilt you have on your first page. I have been looking for Evelyn Sloppy's book, but don't know if it's the Strips & Strings. Can you tell me the name of the book?
Thanks

Oh how I hate seeing those motorcycle riders. We went through a period where they would not only scream by at terrifying speeds, but they were standing on the saddle rather than sitting *yikes*

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
