Pieces and parts all finished...now on to the blocks!
It always starts out very organized...counting little stacks of 10 blocks and pinning them together...but then...
The stacks become piles! I have more than enough units to make my Jewel Box plaids quilt...more than enough to make a really big quilt for dear husband!!! I love this part...now I can make all the blocks and really make some progress.
Have a great day, all!!
Julie

Can't wait to see this "jewel"! I always love your plaid quilts. They inspire me. : )
Oh, cannot wait to see it all come together.
I'm still collecting different plaids for a guy quilt.
There you go again, teasing me with those gorgeous plaids.
You have and use more plaids than anyone I know; plus, you make the most beautiful quilts with all of them.
Loking forward to seeing your Jewel! Perfect name for the colors and wonderful plaids you are using!
They inspire me too!
Carolyn :)
I love to sew this way, too. Such fun!
wow, you've been busy. I just did a swap with CW fabrics in 1/2 sq tri's. I need more now that I got the first batch and they are fabulous. Everyone had to use the foundation paper so the blocks are precise!
Will it be finished tomorrow Julie? Oh Speedy Gonzalez of the quilt world!
Love plaids! Can't wait to see more!
Great Progress!!! Good for you and I love your plaids!
One of my all time favourite moments in piecing is when I have all the little components pieced squared and counted - just ready to be made into a top. Can't wait to see the finish.
those stacks look confusing, but i know you know what you're doing....looks great
You certainly do accomplish quite a bit! Another stunning quilt in the making.
Great progress! I love the idea of using plaids for a jewel box quilt. Happy Saturday!
Wow...that's going to be another stunner!!
The starting out organized and ending up in piles sounds WAY too familiar! Have you ben peeking in my studio? Love it! Your quilt will be gorgeous!
Julie...I always love checking to see what you are doing...and you are always working on the most amazing quilts!
Now the fun really begins ... Enjoy :)
Looking good! Does hubby know yet? And how is he doing these days?
You'll be Speedy Gonzales from now on! I expect to see lots of progress in a short time, as usual :)
Love those plaids. I have bunches of them.
Hi, I love the quilt you have on your first page. I have been looking for Evelyn Sloppy's book, but don't know if it's the Strips & Strings. Can you tell me the name of the book?
Thanks

Oh how I hate seeing those motorcycle riders. We went through a period where they would not only scream by at terrifying speeds, but they were standing on the saddle rather than sitting *yikes*
