All things quilting and family!

Hi to everyone!  My Christmas cactus is blooming! Hurrah!!  I tried to get a picture...while the phone was upside down.  I love the color even is the photo quality is not so good.  I bought a thimble sized cactus from Home Depot 2 years ago, and it has grown so large that I have repotted it twice.

I have been working on hexies in spare moments...waiting in doctor offices, on planes...Here is where I am in this project, using my scraps in hexies.

I am making a t-shirt quilt for a lady I work with.  The father whose shirts these was a diver and owned a dive shop.

Above is an organized jumble...the quiltville mystery quilt!!  I always love sewing this quilt with my great friend Annie.  It is so much fun!

Above is a pile of quilts for JPS hospital network.  I have been working on finishing these for our guild, for that hospital. Our own hospital does not have a program like this, so I am giving these to our county hospital, JPS.

These nine patches finish at 2 inches, and I am loving making them.  SQUIRREL!  I will make them until I tire of doing so.  This is looking into the bottom of a basket.

I had the privilege of visiting my grand babies, and I am so excited!  Will is studious and fun!

Kitty cat Lucky likes the Christmas tree.
And Becca loved making cookies with me!!!  She had a good time rolling out the cookie dough and cutting out shapes.

Onward...and I hope each of you has a great day.  Are you ready for Christmas?

Looks like you've been busy. So many people will enjoy you're efforts.
I made loaves of Swiss Braided Christmas bread today to give to my neighbors.
Hope you have a great holiday season.
